Japanese cuisine at its finest. Since taking over the iconic premises on Fenn's Quay in the centre of Cork City, Ichigo Ichie has gone from strength to strength. Chef Miyazaki has excelled himself, serving set menus for groups of 6-10, with 7 courses of traditional Japanese food and drink.
Located in a stunning location on the coast of Waterford, Cliff House Restaurant offers you the opportunity to watch the sun set on the ocean as you eat. Serving food sourced and inspired by local produce to a very high standard, chef Darren previously worked in Doonbeg resort. Both à la carte and taster menus are available.
Dublin born Derry Clarke trained in the classical French tradition in the Man Friday in Kinsale. He came home to Dublin to continue his training under the direction of John Howard in Le Coq Hardi for four years. He then spent 8 years as Head Chef in le Bon Appetit Restaurant where his aspirations were always to open a place of his own.
The riverside setting offers an excellent backdrop to this Oscar & Oscar designed restaurant, while an intimate mezzanine area provides for more secluded dining. With their fine dining heritage Stephen and Alain aim to provide the same quality of food and attentive service, but in a more relaxed, simple environment.
Kai Restaurant is nestled between the church and a gay bar down on Sea Road in Galway’s Westend. Kai is the Maori word for food and in 2011 they opened the door with a simple formula: high-quality produce, preferably organic or wild, sourced locally and cooked intelligently. What’s in season will be on your plate.
At the Chart House they strive to deliver a memorable dining experience, with each visit to the restaurant better than the last. The reason Chart House has won so many awards and is an elite restaurant is because they recognise what happens front of house is equally as important as what happens on the plate.
Elite Gourmet was founded in the Spring of 2020. The concept sprung from the vibrant food and hospitality scene in the Cork region. There was a continuously rising tide of excellence among the various eateries in and around the city. As this was also reflected across the country, and with more Michelin starred establishments appearing every year, there was a need for a conduit towards this culinary renaissance. We made real connections with the best quality venues across the whole island of Ireland, and we now seek to organise the perfect dining experience for the decerning customer, be they local or a vistor to these shores.
